How does a
Brewery Tour
work?
1. Meet directly at the Cathedral
The tour starts at the Kreuzblume at Cologne Cathedral, just a few steps from the main train station. The meeting point is central, easy to find, and hard to miss. There you'll meet your guide and get a brief overview of the tour's itinerary.

2. Two Hours of Kölsch & Culture
During the tour, you'll typically visit three to four traditional breweries like Früh am Dom, Sion, Gilden, or Päffgen. You'll sample different Kölsch beers, learn more about the brewing culture, and discover Cologne's unique characteristics. Expect exciting stories, humor, and local insider knowledge.

3. Old Town Highlights Included
Between brewery stops, you'll also discover the most important highlights of Cologne's Old Town. Depending on the route, you'll see places like Alter Markt, the Historic City Hall, Tünnes and Schäl, and other well-known corners of Cologne. This way, you combine enjoying Kölsch with genuine city history.

4. End in the Heart of the Old Town
The tour concludes at Heumarkt, right in the heart of the Old Town. From there, you can continue exploring Cologne directly. Your guide will gladly offer personal recommendations, whether for the next brewery, a good restaurant, bars, or other tips for your stay.
