How does a

Brewery Tour

work?

1. Starting Point Tailored to Your Group

Your private brewery tour starts wherever it best suits your group, for example, directly at the Kreuzblume by Cologne Cathedral, just a few steps from the main train station. There, your personal guide will greet you and coordinate the itinerary with you.

2. Two Hours of Kölsch & Brewery Culture

During the tour, you'll typically visit three to four traditional brewhouses such as Früh am Dom, Sion, Gilden, or Päffgen. You'll sample various Kölsch beers, learn more about the brewing culture, and Cologne's unique characteristics. Expect exciting stories, humor, and local insider knowledge.

3. Old Town Highlights at Your Own Pace

Between the brewhouse stops, you'll also have the opportunity to discover the most important highlights of Cologne's Old Town. Depending on your preferences, you'll see places like Alter Markt, the Historic City Hall, Tünnes and Schäl, and other well-known corners of Cologne. This way, you combine Kölsch enjoyment with genuine city history.

4. Flexible Ending in the Old Town

At the end of the tour, your guide will take your group exactly where you want to go next. For example, you could go to Heumarkt, the next pub or a restaurant with a reserved table. If you would like us to, we can make a reservation in advance so you can continue your day or evening in a relaxed manner.
